And they spake against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of the people of the earth, {which were} the work of the hands of man.

Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
Their idols {are} silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth {himself}, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.

For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired {it} for his habitation.
And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple {is} their clothing: they {are} all the work of cunning {men}.
