Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. {to...: or, to edify profitably}
Let every one of us please {his} neighbour for {his} good to edification.
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some {is}; but exhorting {one another}: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words. {comfort: or, exhort}
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual {gifts}, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church. {of spiritual gifts: Gr. of spirits}
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. {expedient: or, profitable}
Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know {them}, and be established in the present truth.
Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but {we do} all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: {so do}.
I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater {is} he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard {it}, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.
