David {was} thirty years old when he began to reign, {and} he reigned forty years.

Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

And the time that he reigned over Israel {was} forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three {years} reigned he in Jerusalem.

And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months. {time: Heb. number of days}

David {was} thirty years old when he began to reign, {and} he reigned forty years.

{These} six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.

In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.

And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel {was} forty years. {time: Heb. days}

And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we {are} thy bone and thy flesh.

Among the Hebronites {was} Jerijah the chief, {even} among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
