What is my reward then? {Verily} that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
But if thy brother be grieved with {thy} meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. {charitably: Gr. according to charity}
If others be partakers of {this} power over you, {are} not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
